Tonight's SOUNDS UNUSUAL (11pm-midnight Central Standard on 88.7FM locally or www.krvs.org) features a live performance of Lou Reed's 'Metal Machine Music' by the German string ensemble known as Zeitkratzer. Also: a segment of a legendary 1966 live improvisational recording of The Velvet Underground performing at the Valleydale Ballroom in Columbus, Ohio back in 1966.
