Only a 25 minute drives west of the city of New Orleans, people from severely damaged parishes such as St.John the Baptist, flooded the Housing Authority in search of low income housing after losing their homes in the devastating storm.

Residents from surrounding parishes, such as St. John the Baptist Parish, crossed the Luling Bridge in hopes of finding proper housing after Hurricane Isaac.
