We've got very nice news from our colleagues over at From The Top, the terrific program that showcases fantastic young musicians from around the U.S. It was announced yesterday that three out of the four players headed to the semifinals of the highly prestigious Menuhin International Violin Competition — held this year in Beijing — are From The Top alums.

They are Alexi Kenney, 18, from Palo Alto, Calif.; 17-year-old Ji Eun Anna Lee from Bayside, N.Y., who has been featured on three 'From The Top' radio episodes and on their PBS TV program; and San Francisco's Kenneth Arthur Renshaw, 19, who's also appeared on three radio installments.

Check out these super-accomplished young musicians in the following videos filmed during the Menuhin competition's first round.
