Vote For The Albums Everyone Can Love, For Sept. 5

Whitney Houston's 1992 Bodyguard soundtrack was a huge hit. Huge! It sold more than 45 million copies worldwide. Remember "I Will Always Love You"? It's from that record. But according to last week's poll, a staggering 90 percent of you either don't like it or haven't heard it.

Then you've got The Knife's Silent Shout (86 percent haven't heard) or Deerhunter's Microcastle (85 percent haven't heard). I realize they aren't major records you'd find on any sensible person's all-time "best of" list. But trust me, they're wonderful. And, really, that's what our summer-long project to find the albums everyone can love is all about: discovering great music you may have never heard before.

In that spirit, here's this week's poll. Just tell us whether or not you love the album — or haven't really heard it.

Please go back and browse some of the other polls in this series, too. If there's something missing you'd like to see in future polls, let us know in the comments.
