Interview with Brenda Foulcard of SMILE Community Action Agency discussing their four-week "Series on Poverty" to celebrate National Community Action Month in May, including a Poverty Summit.  Also featuring an interview with Kathy Mulloy and Beth Chiasson of the Lafayette Public Library System discussing their Summer Reading Kickoff. 

Interview with Gerd Wuestemann, Roddie Romero, and Shadi Hansa about the Acadiana Center for the Arts' upcoming concert, Soul Survival.  Also featuring an interview with Steven Landry of the Acadiana Repertory Theatre about their upcoming play, Anatomy of a Hug.  

Alice Wallace with Hobgoblin Hill Puppets will be in our studio at 3:30 to talk about her production of Petrushka. Petrushka is to Russia what Punch and Judy is to England, or rather it was, until the Communists tried to destroy it for its subversive, reactionary tendencies. Petrushka is an anti-hero like Punch: he is a rowdy, disrespectful rascal, who drinks and fights too much, and makes fun of everyone– except his audience, whom he regards as his cousins.
