EARTHBEAT (7pm-8pm Central Standard on 88.7FM locally orwww.krvs.org) starts out with a trio of recent multi-cultural collaborations put out in 2012 including Toure'-Raichel Collective (Idan Raichel and Vieux Farka Toure' - pictured), Ablaye Cissoko & Volker Goetze and Habib Koite & Eric Bibb. Also: new Malian vocalist, Fatoumata Diawara and Ethiopian grooves by Aster Aweke, Alemayehu Eshete and Debo Band.
