Alternative cancer doctor treats patients in his clinic, gains negative reviews from FDA

 Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski is a physician who has been treating cancer patients with an alternative therapy he discovered in the 1970s for over 30 years.  Some cancer patients, like Youngsville native Carolyn Landry, know nothing about him, because he has been sued by the FDA many times over the last 15 years for “unlawful practices”. He continues to treat and in numerous cases cure people of cancer, some of which were deemed terminally ill by traditional doctors.

UL spring fashion show sees program's end

Fashion followers on the University of Louisiana’s campus tells what trends women are following  this spring. Jessica Robek, fashion professor, makes her a fashion advice admissible to women even if they are on a budget. She explains the colors, prints, and also fads that have gone and come again over the years. Courtney Jones, fashion major, reveals her input on what women this spring could do to spice up an outfit this spring that will be sure to turn heads. Story by Tonice White
