UL spring fashion show sees program's end

Fashion followers on the University of Louisiana’s campus tells what trends women are following  this spring. Jessica Robek, fashion professor, makes her a fashion advice admissible to women even if they are on a budget. She explains the colors, prints, and also fads that have gone and come again over the years. Courtney Jones, fashion major, reveals her input on what women this spring could do to spice up an outfit this spring that will be sure to turn heads. Story by Tonice White

UL Spring Football Game Turns Into War Zone

The UL football team Spring game last month gave the fans lots to watch as  they displayed what seemed like an act of  War on the field. Two players were imjured to a point of no return for next season. The game was so rough they had to end it just a tad bit early. Although, there were a few negatives there were positives with the way defense progressed over the spring.

Volleyball Takes Bigger Loss Off The Court

The University of Louisiana Volleyball team loses a teammate this past Christmas break. Sawyer Camillo, who was a freshmen from Argyle Texas, died on  December 22 2013 shortly after the UL Football team won the New Orleans Bowl. Sawyer had back problems and had surgery days before her death. With all of this going on the UL volleyball team has to cope with her lost and their spring season underway. Story by Tonice White

Rickshaw Transportation

Rickshaw operator Alex Carie prepares to give a downtown visitor a ride in his rickshaw.

With the growing challenge of finding parking or public transportation in the downtown Lafayette area, several visitors have discovered the convenience of an alternative mode of transportation. The rickshaws are available to all downtown visitors and may make navigating the busy downtown streets a little easier. Story by Richard Labranche
